For this object, we had to use old aluminum printing plates and neon paper for the internal part. The first step was to make a 3D drawing of the vase on Rhino in order to unroll the surface in different sections. Only in this way we could print the surface on a piece of paper and quickly recreate the shape. To put the pieces together we used double-sided tape.
